Robyn Kuhl lives in Sandpoint, ID, with husband Wade and son Zach, 62 alpacas, 2 cats and an LGD of the Anatolian Shepherd persuasion named Murphy. Robyn has always used all the fiber shorn on their ranch. Robyn learned to spin, knit, crochet, and weave after acquiring alpacas in 1991. Robyn attended the Fiber Sorter/ Grader certification class in Canada, March of 06 and completed that certification by June of 06. Our ranch is open to the public 5 days a week, 12 months out of the year to the public. We have a successful ranch store and a strong agritourism component. Robyn speaks to various groups in North Idaho, sharing the experiences of raising alpacas and making the most of their fiber.
